“…Binary systems show that Cr, Si and B reduce the melting temperature of Ni to 1040 0 C. The result is a relatively low melting temperature of NiCrBSi alloys [10]. After remelting NiCrSi alloys, the published studies [11,12] have contributed to the recognition of the phases of NiCrBSi systems. The base of the NiCrBSi alloy contains a solid solution γ -Ni with a low content of Ni-Ni 3 B eutecticum.…”

“…The Ni-based self-fluxing alloys are particularly suitable for all types of thermal spraying: HVOF [2, 9÷12], flame spraying [2, 7,8,10, 13÷19], plasma spraying [3, 10,11,16], plasma transferred arc welding [5,8,20,21], laser cladding [6,13,15] and arc welding [4,8,22]. So as to obtain the best properties of the sprayed coating, various combinations of the mentioned types of spraying as well as influence of particular alloying elements are investigated in the analysed papers.…”

“…The advantages of flame spray is economical and versatility [3][4][5][6][7]. However, it has some drawbacks such as high porosity, inter-layer oxides and poor adherence [8]. This limitation would be overcome by furnace fused processing.…”
