“…Mg doped CCTO was studied by Sun et al [68] and Swatsitang et al [69] Sun et al [68] prepared CaCu 3À x Mg x Ti 4 O 12 ceramics with high ɛ' and very low tanδ by the solÀ gel method. Very high values of relative permittivity and low values for dielectric loss were obtained for Mg doped CCTO ceramics : ɛ' of 2.52 × 10 4 and tanδ of~0.017 at 1 kHz and RT have been achieved for ceramics sintered at 1080°C for 8 h in the air atmosphere.…”

“…A large number of giant‐dielectric materials with very high dielectric permittivities (ε′≈10 3 ‐10 6 ) have been investigated because giant‐dielectric materials are considered potentially useful in various electronic applications as well as in high energy‐dense storage applications . Recently, Hu et al .…”

“…Wang et al [39] also reported that the tanδ values of CCTO ceramics prepared by a sol-gel method can be reduced by doping with K + ions. Furthermore, it was also widely reported that substitution of Mg 2+ ions into the CCTO structure can effectively decrease tanδ [34,40,41]. Most recently, Swatsitang and Putjuso [42] showed a decrease in the tanδ values of CCTO ceramics by doping with Cr 3+ ions.…”
