Abstract:Complexes of C11H10N2Cu2Br3 (1) and C22H20N4Cu8I10 (2) [C22H20N4 = 1,1"‐(1,2‐ethanediyl)‐bis‐4,4′‐bipyridinium] were synthesized via the microwave‐assisted solvo‐thermal reactions of C22H20N4Br2, CuSO4·5H2O, and NaX (X = Br, I) and characterized by XRD, FTIR, and thermogravimetric analysis. The crystal structures were determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analyses. C11H10N2Cu2Br3 crystallized in the monoclinic space group C2/c (no. 15) with lattice parameters a = 24.658(3) Å, b = 6.71(9) Å, c = 17.368… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
