Miniaturization and image optimization of a full-color holographic display system using a vibrating light guide

Abstract: In this study, a miniaturized full-color holographic reconstruction system that uses a single spatial light modulator to achieve full-color image reconstruction was developed. The reconstruction system uses a single light guide for light combination and is therefore less voluminous than conventional reconstruction systems. The experimental results demonstrated that the system had a full-color display, corrected light combination, and eliminated zero-order light. The vibrations of the light guide disrupted the … Show more

“…At the same time, more provocative types arise such for example free-standing displays [24][25][26][27], personal displays [28], mobile devices [29][30][31], interactive shopping displays [32][33][34], and even battery-free patched wearable displays for opportunistic interactions [35]. Recently, more exotic forms of information displays are under research to support the full-color holographic presentation of visual information [36,37].…”

“…Among widely investigated nanoparticles, TiO2 nanoparticles offer great scattering efficiency across the entire visible spectrum, high stability, and versatile application capabilities [17,18]. Moreover, to the best of our knowledge, TiO2 is barely investigated as a scattering enhancement factor for LED lighting [19][20][21][22]. Therefore, in our work, the commercial LED is produced with a commercial blue LED chip, yellow phosphor YAG: Ce 3+ , and TiO2 nanoparticles.…”
