Abstract: Epidural anaesthesia (EA) has consistently been used for treatments affecting the pelvis, lower limbs, lower abdomen, and perineum; however, it is progressively employed as a single anaesthetic or supplement to general and spinal anaesthesia for a broader range of procedures.
