Abstract: Experimental investigations depicting the effect of pseudoplasticity and fluid elasticity on the minimum fluidization velocity and bed expansion behavior of spherical particles are presented. Experiments have been carried out to fluidize the beds of spherical particles using different types of fluids, viz.
