Abstract: Genome-scale metabolic models (GEMs) are essential tools in systems and synthetic biology, enabling the mathematical simulation of metabolic pathways encoded in genomes to predict phenotypes. The complexity of GEMs, however, can often limit the interpretation and comparison of their outputs.
