Abstract:A semi-classical model describing the charge transfer collisions of C60 fullerene with different slow ions has been developed to explain available experimental data. This data reveals multiple Breit-Wigner like peaks in the cross sections, with subsequent peaks of reactive cross sections decreasing in magnitude. Calculations of charge transfer probabilities, quasi-resonant cross sections and cross sections for reactive collisions have been performed using semi-empirical interaction potentials between fullerene… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
