Online social networks (OSNs) such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, have become extremely popular and ubiquitous today. Users are actively connected to these services for creating and sharing contents and events with others, and, in some cases, this activity takes place in the scope of groups of interests. Therefore, from amongst the morass of data generated every day by users, a part of information may match the interests of certain groups. In practice, members are not all linked to each other via each OSN they are connected to. It is also not realistic to assume that each member can manually explore all others' social profiles to reach the information that may be relevant to their interests. Thus, there is a need for aggregating members' social streams on a single information support to collect relevant information, and, consequently, to promote collaborative knowledge-sharing. However, the disconnected nature of today social websites prevents a straightforward aggregation process. An efficient automated aggregation model is needed. We present, in this paper, the idea of empowering collaborative intelligence by the use of a user-centered approach for OSN aggregation. We illustrate the approach by a first experience to evaluate its impact on users information sharing and enrichment capabilities.

This paper presents the design and development of a community application that facilitates user's access to communities and exchange information between community members. The application provides multiple services in order to satisfy the needs of users sharing a common interest or practice. We introduce a new type of ephemeral communities with geolocalization, that we call spontaneous communities. Our approach is based on an ontology, which models the different components of a community and their relations. The proposed approach has been validated through a prototype for the visitors of a botanical garden.

RESUME. Ces dernières années ont été marquées par l'essor des dispositifs mobiles (Smartphones, tablettes tactiles, ordinateurs portables, capteurs, etc.) et le développement du nombre d'applications proposées à l'utilisateur. Les applications communautaires n'échappent pas à cette tendance. Elles offrent différents services répondant aux besoins des utilisateurs réunis par un intérêt ou une pratique commune. Ce type d'application permettent à l'utilisateur de s'adresser aux communautés, facilitent le partage des documents et l'accès aux services associé à une communauté virtuelle, intègrent différents outils favorisant la communication entre les membres de la communauté, etc. Dans le cadre du projet ANR MOANO, nous mettons en commun les avancées dans les domaines de la conception d'applications communautaires. Dans le présent article, nous introduisons la notion de communauté spontanée avec géolocalisation. Puis nous présentons une modélisation de la notion de communauté, basée sur une ontologie, qui est placée au coeur de nos applications communautaires. Cette ontologie fournit un support formel décrivant explicitement une communauté. En se basant sur cette représentation ontologique, nous décrivons une démarche qui vise à assister un utilisateur dans sa recherche d'une communauté. La démarche proposée est validée par un prototype destiné aux visiteurs d'un parc botanique.
