Abstract:This study aims to optimize the performance of optical communication and sensing systems using avalanche photodiodes (APD) and transimpedance amplifiers (TIA). The high gain of APDs at low light levels and TIA circuits’ wide bandwidth, low noise, and high-speed characteristics are critical for these applications.
