Modeling and Simulation of Grid Connected Hybrid Energy System and its Fault Analysis

Abstract: This paper represents a hybrid energy system (HES) consisting of photovoltaic (PV), Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC), electrolyzer system and a storage tank. In this proposed system a fuel cell controller is used where a PID controller is utilized to control the flow of hydrogen (H2) through the valve to the SOFC to fulfill the load requirement. In this model a supervisory controller is used to regulate the whole system according to load requirement. So, when PV power is more than load requi… Show more

“…Its particularity is that it relies on the language G, created by National Instruments, which is entirely graphic. It makes it possible to create complex software while facilitating the programming and thus reducing the development time [28]. Thanks to its libraries of functions dedicated to data acquisition, instrumentation, mathematical analysis of measurements, but also thanks to the rapid creation of quality graphical interfaces and simplified coding, the engineer has more than time to focus on the business functions of instrumentation and measurement processing.…”

“…The glazing is 2-substrate, the material from which the photovoltaic panel is built is monocrystalline silicon. The part of the collector consists of copper pipes that are placed between the insulation layer and the photovoltaic panel glass [22]. Suppose that the surface of the photovoltaic and photovoltaic panels involved in that is 2 m2, length 2m and width 1m, we also assume that the layer of the photovoltaic panel is 2 double glazing.…”
