Modelling of lighting system utilizing natural and artificial lighting using DIALux

Abstract: The uniformity of daylight in the classroom contributes to indoor visual comfort in the learning process. A Classroom that has non-uniform illuminance and is unsuitable with 350-3000 lux can affect visual discomfort. This study aims to design a classroom lighting system using daylight and artificial lighting according to Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 6197-2011 to get visual comfort. The results of this study are expected to increase the efficiency of electricity consumption and to solve the visual discomf… Show more

“…A.Hangga et al explained that the definite lighting in the classroom is 350-3000 lux, and the simulation results are in that range. Therefore, if the simulation results are below 350 lux or more than 3000 lux, it can affect the visual uniformity and low discomfort for the user [19]. to be yellow.…”

“…The simulation was carried out using DIALux 4.12 software. The simulation using DIAlux software has been commonly used and implemented in the study for evaluating lighting efficiency for indoor and outdoor lighting, which has become a de facto standard [33], [34]. The simulation process for tunnel lighting using DIALux software and data collected from the Cisumdawu tunnel involves:…”

“…The research about SCWB in the lighting scope has been studied, but the research used TL lamps [7]. Even though the IOP Publishing doi:10.1088/1755-1315/1203/1/012021 2 installed LED could provide efficiency of about 27.7% -39% for lighting in education buildings [8], [9].…”
