Modelling of Municipal Solid Waste as Composite Material

Abstract: Municipal solid waste (further MSW) occupy considerable sites of urban territories. Behaviour of “fresh” MSW is characterized by deformation hardening similarly to stress-strain state of pseudocohesive unsaturated soils reinforced by randomly oriented fibers.
