Modelling Value-Oriented Legal Reasoning in LogiKEy

Abstract: The logico-pluralist LogiKEy knowledge engineering methodology and framework is applied to the modelling of a theory of legal balancing, in which legal knowledge (cases and laws) is encoded by utilising context-dependent value preferences.
