Abstract:Polynomial Decision Rules (DR) for the problems of discrete RZ (Return-to-Zero) signal distinction in asymmetric-excess non-Gaussian noise are proposed. A new approach is proposed, which is based on the use of a modified moment quality criterion of statistical hypothesis testing and the application of higher-order statistics to describe the characteristics of non-Gaussian noise. Simulation of the DR with different parameters of the signal and noise was carried out. It is shown that taking into account the coef… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
