Abstract:Polylactic Acid (PLA) is a biodegradable and bioactive polyester derived from renewable sources such as corn and sugar cane. Because PLA is eco-friendly, researchers have recently tried to make PLA replace other polymers that cause greenhouse gases and other pollution.
