Modification and validation of the Birmingham Vasculitis Activity Score (version 3)

Abstract: Background:Comprehensive multisystem clinical assessment using the Birmingham Vasculitis Activity score (BVAS) is widely used in therapeutic studies of systemic vasculitis. Extensive use suggested a need to revise the instrument.
