Abstract:The cosmetic disfigurements which arise due to loss of orbital volume after enucleation of an eye include enophthalmus, superior sulcus deformity, upper eyelid ptosis, and lower eyelid laxity. The treatment can be either conservative or surgical. For patients who does not want to undergo further surgical procedures, the conservative treatment is simple, non-invasive, and appropriate.
