Modified Poisson-Gauss Single-Function to Describe the GRIN of the Human Lens

Abstract: The human lens plays a crucial role in the vision process, since it is responsible for the accommodation mechanism and for the reduction of optical aberrations. Its modeling is important for the comprehension of the relationship between its physiological and optical properties, and ultimately for ophthalmic purposes.
