Modified tarsotomy for the treatment of severe cicatricial entropion

Abstract: Purpose To analyze the efficacy of modified tarsotomy for the management of severe cicatricial entropion. Methods Twenty-seven eyelids of 18 patients who underwent modified tarsotomy between March 2011 and July 2013 were retrospectively assessed. The data collected included patient demographics, etiology of cicatricial entropion, and surgical history.
