Abstract:Aims: Cotton production contributes in economic security in Egypt. Cotton leaf curl virus (CLCuV) belongs to the Begomovirus genus and Geminiviridae family that is transmitted by the whitefly Bemisia tabaci. It is the greatest current threat where cotton is grown.
