Abstract:Enterococcus faecalis (E. faecalis) and E. faecium (E. faecium) are commensals of the gastrointestinal biota of humans and animals and are considered opportunistic pathogens. This study aimed to improve the knowledge about E. faecalis and E. faecium isolated from meat.
