Abstract:In this study, Natural Bonding Orbitals (NBOs) were applied to isatin, 5-fluoroisatin, 5-chloroisatin, 5-methylisatin and 5-methoxyisatin using the Lee-Yang-Parr correlation functional B3LYP with 6-311++G(2d,2p) basis set.
