Monitoring House Vacancy Dynamics in The Pearl River Delta Region: A Method Based on NPP-VIIRS Night-Time Light Remote Sensing Images

Abstract: Urban spatial interaction integrates cities into closely related urban network systems in continuous urban regions. However, it also brings differentiation and has mutual negative impacts between each location. Unbalanced development is one such impacts and needs closely monitoring. The housing vacancy rate (HVR) in a continuous urban region is an important index in the unbalanced development of a continuous urban region since it indicates the uneven distribution of population and investment across cities. Thi… Show more

“…EEJ variations at different longitudes are due to the underlining effects of local winds, which are responsible for EEJ driving [65][66][67][68][69]. In addition, longitudinal differences in EEJ are caused by the different nature of the propagating diurnal tides, the meridional winds, and the dynamics of the migratory tides [70][71][72][73][74]. All the satellite and ground data showed significant storm-time variations in different phases [75][76][77][78][79].…”

“…Conversely, district energy networks primarily deal with load management and energy efficiency enhancement. Demand response, the construction of energy-efficient buildings and districts, and communication difficulties are all addressed by a number of European infrastructure and facilities programs [75][76][77][78][79][80][81][82][83][84][85][86][87][88].…”

“…Finally, software evolution and maintenance involve changing the program to suit changing consumer and market desires [5]. They include sub-events, such as requirement authentication, architectural strategy, testing, and supportive events, such as configuration and modification administration, quality guarantee, and project administration [6][7][8]. Other actions involve providing new technological tools, following best practices, and standardizing processes.…”
