Monitoring of myocardial function by ultrasonic transducers

Abstract: Background:The aim of this PhD thesis was to provide a continuous method to monitor myocardial function during cardiac surgery with the superior sensitivity of ultrasonic technique and the continuity of electrocardiographic (ECG) monitoring.
