Field studies on two ECB populations in Spain did not reveal any difference in their Cry1Ab susceptibilities (Gonzáles-Núñez et al, 2000), whereas small variations in susceptibility to Cry1Ab protein among different geographical ECB populations were observed in the USA and in Germany (Marçon et al, 1999;Saeglitz et al, 2006).
