Monitoring wolves (Canis lupus) by non-invasive genetics and camera trapping: a small-scale pilot study

Abstract: Monitoring populations of elusive large carnivores like wolves (Canis lupus), which are often distributed at low density in widespread forested areas, is difficult or exceedingly expensive.
