“…6 The efficacy of Jynneos has been compared with secondgeneration vaccines containing live Vaccinia virus with replication capacity obtaining a comparable efficacy with a better safety profile; it has been demonstrated that Jynneos could also protect against the disease after infection. 7 Although, at the individual level, it is not possible to establish a definite causal relationship between a particular adverse event and a particular vaccine, 8 in our patient, given the temporal relationship between the vaccine and the development of AD-psoriasis, we believe it is plausible that the vaccine against monkeypox may have triggered the inflammatory diseases to which he was genetically susceptible. Similarly, studies on the cutaneous reactions following COVID-19 vaccination found that these reactions included exacerbation of known skin diseases indicating that vaccinations may trigger immunological diseases in those patients who are already predisposed to them.…”

“…Lister, Bern, Paris, New York City Board of Health (NYCBH), Tian Tan (VTT), Dairen, and Ikeda are the most commonly used strains in the development of these vaccines. 8 The major difference between vaccines of the first and second generation is the production system: the former's production takes place on skin or lymph of animals, whereas the latter's production occurs on tissue or cell cultures. 9 In this manner, the secondgeneration vaccines are improved in purity and virulence than the first-generation vaccines.…”
