Abstract:This study examines the collisions of electrons with methane molecules to determine the cross-sections required for calculating electron transport coefficients in methane gas. Employing Monte Carlo Simulations in MATLAB, critical transport characteristics, including electron mobility and diffusion coefficients, were computed.
