“…Leaf samples from each R and S biotypes were analysed by flow cytometry, using a Partec PAS flow cytometer (Partec GmbH, Münster, Germany) equipped with a high‐pressure mercury arc lamp, as described by Zahumenická et al 29 . Chromosome counting was performed using α‐bromonaphthalene pretreatment 30 …”

“…Borna et al (2017) studied the applicability of iPBS markers for assessment of molecular variations and genetic relationships between 89 genotypes of Leonurus cardiaca L. In this study, 7 iPBS primers were used to amplify a total of 191 fragments ranging from 180 bp to 4,000 bp. Záhumenická et al (2018) used iPBS markers for investigation of genomic stability in Amenome sylvestris diploid and tetraploid plants. All these studies demonstrate that iPBS analysis is quick, reliable and that this approach produces sufficient polymorphisms for large-scale DNA fingerprinting purposes.…”

“…Several researchers, such as Al-Najm et al (2016); Gedik et al (2017) and Coutinho et al (2018), have reported the high efficiency of the iPBS markers in identifying the high genetic diversity among plants. Studies in literature are newly emerging on the usage of this technique produced with plant tissue culture (Gozukirmizi 2014; Zahumenická et al 2018). Genetic stability was also determined with iPBS as the second method black carrot plantlets were investigated with seven iPBS primers.…”
