Morphology, Energy Level Alignment, and Charge Transfer at the Protoporphyrin IX–Semiconductor Interface

Abstract: The combination of molecular catalysts and semiconductor substrates in hybrid heterogeneous photo-or electrocatalytic devices could yield synergistic effects that result in enhanced activity and long-term stability.
