Morphometric characters in a taxonomic diagnosis of Dolichopus pennatus species group (Diptera: Dolichopodidae)

Abstract: Sexually dimorphic structures (ornamentation) on the legs are important diagnostic features for Dolichopus males, whereas females are often morphologically similar and therefore species diagnosis is difficult.
