Abstract:Mpox, previously called monkeypox, re‐emerged globally in 2022–2023. Unlike previous outbreaks that mainly affected children, the current outbreak primarily affects adult males, with transmission largely between sexual contacts. Here the author considers the impact of the virus on men's health, its treatment and prevention.
