were analyzed, and 17.9% (n=37) of the subjects presented soft tissue injuries; eight of them were from the banking sector. Subsequently, the banking sector subjects that were or had been on sick leave were selected. A script was developed with semi-structured questions about the work environment, sickness process, and sick leave, among others. The interviews were recorded for integral verbatim transcription and categorical analyses. Results: Five subjects aged 40 to 62 participated in the study: four females and one male. Regarding schooling, all of them presented higher education level, three complete and two incomplete.
