Abstract:A novel multi-band monopole antenna using a pair of symmetrical mushroom-shaped self-complementary resonators (SCRs) is presented. The original antenna is composed of a monopole with arc-shaped edge and a beveled ground producing wide bandwidth with S 11 lower than −10 dB from lower frequency limit 2.5 GHz up to 15 GHz.
