Multi-Piece Post-Crown for Multi-Rooted Teeth with Non-Parallel Canals: A Direct Pattern Technique

Abstract: Problems associated with custom cast posts for multi-rooted teeth with nonparallel canals following the traditional direct pattern technique result from using different metals in fabricating post core systems include failures due to electrolytic action of dissimilar metals and unfavorable effect upon the physical properties of wrought metal posts.
