Multi-resolution Mechanism for SVG

Abstract: Interest in Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is increasing rapidly. Based on XML, SVG can be easily used on Web application. But the progressive transmission technology of SVG has still not been developed well. To address this, we propose a multi-resolution storage model, progressive transmission mechanism and along with some implementations for the SVG data.
