Abstract:In recent years, bound states in the continuum (BICs) in the all-dielectric metasurfaces have attracted considerable attention due to the low radiation loss and large quality factor (Q-factor). In this study, we design a highly sensitive refractive index sensor working in multi-scenario based on merging quasi-BIC in the silicon nitride metasurface. By adjusting the thickness of the metasurface and keeping the structural symmetry, nine BICs distributed in momentum space form the merging BIC at the Γ point with … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
