Multi-Step Prestressing with Hybrid SMA Wires

Abstract: Prestressing force is induced in reinforced concrete (RC) structures to improve their load-carrying capacity. Generally, the prestressing strand of an RC structure is tensioned using a hydraulic jack, which decreases its workability.
