Abstract:This paper addresses multichannel non-crosstalk sonar systems for mobile robots. Binary frequency shift keying (BFSK) sequences modulated using chaotic series are proposed to eliminate crosstalk between multichannel ultrasonic ranging transducers. A square wave is used as the carrier of the chaotic BFSK sequence in order to reduce hardware cost. The parameters of the chaotic BFSK sequence are configured to make full use of bandwidth of the sonar transducers. A genetic algorithm is applied to optimize the echo … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
