Abstract: Knee osteoarthritis is a degenerative disorder of the knee, which leads to joint pain, stiffness, and inactivity and significantly affects the quality of life. With an increased prevalence of obesity and greater life expectancies, total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is now one of the major arthroplasty surgeries performed for knee osteoarthritis.
