Multilevel frequency converter at high-voltage transistors with frequency-current control

Abstract: The structural scheme of multilevel transistor frequency converter with high voltage cells for the smooth start and controlling rate of asynchronous and synchronous motors of up to 5000 kW power. The application of the main components of frequency current controlling system is described. The frequency converter is made with integrated high voltage rectifier inverter cells and its phase includes two cells con nected in series at a power voltage of 6 kV and, for a power voltage of 10 kV, there are four cells.
