Abstract:Fovea hypoplasia (FH) is a rare, bilateral condition described as the anatomical absence of the foveal pit. FH can be diagnosed and classified with optical coherence tomography (OCT) and other imaging modalities such as fundus autofluorescence and OCT angiography. Most of the cases reported are of bilateral FH. We describe clinical aspects, tomographic, and autofluorescence features in a case of unilateral FH.
