Abstract:Under study are some vector optimization problems over the space of Minkowski balls, i. e., symmetric convex compact subsets in Euclidean space. A typical problem requires to achieve the best result in the presence of conflicting goals; e.g., given the surface area of a symmetric convex body x, we try to maximize the volume of x and minimize the width of x simultaneously.Date: March 22, 2013.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
