“… 1 Indeed, the eruption of multiple Sutton nevi in adults has been reported in the literature associated with neoplasms, immunotherapy, and Turner syndrome. 2 , 3 In this study, we describe a patient who presented to our facility complaining of the sudden appearance of multiple Halo nevi on the trunk within a few months. We discussed a possible paraneoplastic etiology or possible association with the anti‐severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS‐CoV‐2) vaccination.…”

“…Halo naevi can occur before the development of vitiligo and are more common in early‐onset vitiligo (Mahajan et al, 2021). Halo naevi have also been reported after immunotherapy including ipilimumab (anti‐CTLA‐4), nivolumab, pembrolizumab, tocilizumab, IFN‐β‐1a, and alemtuzumab (anti‐CD52) (Kuet & Goodfield, 2014; Lolli et al, 2018; Nicolétis‐Lombart et al, 2019; Plaquevent et al, 2019; Vera‐Iglesias et al, 2012). The development of halo naevi with the IL‐6R antagonist tocilizumab is surprising given the increased levels of IL‐6 in patients with vitiligo.…”

“…In both cases, complete remission of metastatic melanoma was obtained within 24 and 6 months, respectively. 3,4 To the best of our knowledge, we present the first case of extensive Sutton phenomenon during treatment with nivolumab for metastatic melanoma. Notably, this process was associated in our patient with complete regression of the melanin in some naevi.…”
