Multiple vascular reconstructions during pancreatectomy: Surgical techniques and strategies

Abstract: Objectives Pancreatic body and tail tumors account for one-third of all pancreatic tumors and can be diagnosed later than pancreatic head tumors because they present symptoms much later. When analyzed, most of them are generally unresectable because they are invaded into adjacent organs and vascular structures.
