Abstract: The alfalfa leafcutting bee Megachile rotundata Fabricius (HYMENOPTERA: Megachilidae) is an important pollinator for multiple agricultural seed commodities in the United States. M. rotundata is a solitary cavity nesting bee that forms brood nests where its larvae can develop.
