Abstract:A Zn negative electrode is a promising material for large-scale energy storage devices because of its safety and high energy density. The problem for its application is the irregular deposition such as dendritic and mossy structural growths on the electrode during charge-discharge cycles. Application of additives is an effective and practical solution to control the surface morphology. Recently, it is reported that cationic surfactants lead to the smooth surface morphology of the Zn deposits [1]. Our past stud… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
