Muscle Activation Assessed with Electromyography is Suboptimal During Physical Therapy in Mechanically Ventilated Patients

Abstract: Physical therapy (PT) is a standard component of care for mechanically ventilated (MV) patients. Recent studies have raised concerns, however, that this treatment may be relatively ineffective.
