Muslim physicians and palliative care: attitudes towards the use of palliative sedation

Abstract: BackgroundMuslim norms concerning palliative sedation can differ from secular and non-Muslim perceptions. Muslim physicians working in a Western environment are expected to administer palliative sedation when medically indicated.
